Message The AshSpec chip will likely put down a little more power because it's more aggressive with the timing in certain areas. The JWT has a more conservative tune and thousands of people have run it without problems at all.

The AshSpec does have the safety map, but day in and day out it will run the car harder. The way the Ashspec chip handles an emergency situation is up for some debate but let's just say it works better than the JWT. Even then, it's not like there's an abundance of people that have had any catastrophic problems with the JWT. It's quite the opposite.

Again, I'm not saying the AshSpec isn't safe...people like to get that idea. I just feel the JWT is an overall safer choice. And again, the AshSpec will likely make a bit more power on the average car.
